General Dental Council Tax Rebate

Do you pay into the GDC?

You can claim a tax rebate on this professional fee and many other work related expenses.

The tax relief available is for both NHS and private sector employees and can be back dated for the last four tax years.

The General Dental Council holds all dental professionals to the excellent standards of care and patient safety that the majority provide. The legal requirement for all of you to be registered and regulated reassures your clients and promotes the profession.

Whilst we’re sure you value its importance, it must niggle a little when you are the one paying the hundreds of pounds to do your job!

That’s why the Tax Office has regulations in place to give tax relief on assorted work expenses.

What else can GDC members claim a tax rebate for?

It’s not just your membership into the GDC you can claim tax relief on.
